Abstract:

In the framework of Forecast project (coordinated by Cirad) and of researches conducted by several Research Units on cocoa agroforestry systems in Cameroon, this work consists in a synthesis of grey literature, thesis and reports on this subject. It deals with cocoa agroforestry systems and food crops systems and on a typology of farms in two sites of Cameroon Center Region: Bokito and Talba. The data collected was organized in the form of review cards for pedagogic purposes. Data on crop yields, gross economic value and labor needs for the various cropping systems were compiled in tables for each zone. This work allows to identify knowledge gaps on these cropping systems.
